Spearhead Update Plans

by Maarten Goldstein, Jan 08, 2003 8:01am PST

Planet Medal of Honor has reposted a forum post by EA's Chris Shelton, who writes about an upcoming patch for Spearhead, the recently released Medal of Honor: Allied Assault expansion pack. Chris also mentions the release of an SDK for the expansion, including "a brief list would be tutorials on how to set up single player AI, mounted weapons, TOW map documention, and a model exporter for 3DSMax. Also some updated TIKI documentation will be included as well as some .map source files, amongst other things.".

  • Is this the patch that finally pulls EA's head out of its arse and incorporates punk buster to help stop cheating? Not likely, they'll probably reimplent the useless pure cvar they have been trying to get working for what 3 releases now?

Great game for a LAN with friends you trust, worlthless outside of that, unless you like trying to kill people who morph through the floor into a snake like beast that you can't hit. The SDK will likely expose more, "modifications" of these types too.

Go EA...... Way to kill a franchise..........
