Serious Sam SE Beta Patch

The guys at Seriously! let us know that there's a new beta patch (also on FileShack), updating Serious Sam: The Second Encounter to version 1.50. There is 5.1 surround audio support, and network code has been improved (among other things).

I hope there will be a lot more servers using this patch. Someone set up the cooperative servers! I'm on 56k and the patch seems to be somewhat more playable under multiplayer because I had 7 kills and one death before I left. I never could kill anything under the older patches because of the crappy netcode. I have a newer nvidia card and everything seems fine. I could not speak for the ATI users since I never owned or used a computer with an ati card in it.

Has anyone played SS on the XBOX, it seems like the XBOX controllers are great for HALO, but SS has SOOOOO many enemies... it seems like a tough one to port. How's the frame rates on the XBOX ver ?
