new drivers are great... with one exception.. WHEN EVER I PLAY A 3D GAME, when I'm done playing and want to watch a video clip all I get is a grey screen in the video window. I have to move the video window between both my monitors (running dual 21" trinitrons on my 9700pro) and then if I'm lucky I can actually see the video.

Battlefield 1942 on the other hand runs like a dream @ 1024x768 4x AA and 8x AF

Yeah, but where's the 25% speed increase like nVidia does every time damnit! I have a friend with an identical system to mine except he's got a GF4 4600 to my Radeon 9700. I get 13,000 3DMarks, and he's pushing 11,000! Every time nVidia comes out with a new set of drivers he closes the gap by 500 more points. Grr! GRR I say GRR!

When I run CS with my Radeon 9700 Pro, and alt tab, when I get back in all the textures are corrupt. Do these drivers fix this issue? I now run CS in Direct3d cause I get alt-tabbed so much.

I saw a nice 10 fps jump in BF1942 with AA/Aniso enabled. So far very happy!

Funny thing. I don't have many problems with my ATI cards...actually, they tend to run cooler and faster than GeForces, or the TI's that I've ran anyway.
