Renegade Server Prereleased

To prepare for an upcoming C&C Renegade patch, Westwood has released a dedicated server for Linux, for the Red Hat distro. The server is pretty much useless without the patch but at least you can test to see if it runs correctly. FileShack has mirrored both versions of the server, the one for Red Hat 7.3 and the one for Red Hat 8.0.

IT is agood game just choppy as all hell, my videw master has a better frame rate

anybody know how to run this smooth?
im playing at the lowest res, and on a fairly powerful system
1.4 athlon, GF2pro ,512 ram
any idea? or help?

This was actually a great game that was killed by the engine/netcode. I had tons of fun until the netcode and framerate drve me crazy. Of course I only had a duron 1ghz back then and a gf2 pro. Haven't even had the game installed for a long time. Maybe I'll install it when that next patch comes out and see how it is now.
