As it is Friday, and our US Government mandates that people be happy enjoy Friday I suggest everyone here play along and do so. It is your patriotic duty as an American if you are one, and the rest of you guys are welcome to play along. To celebrate this day of joy, have a look at these!

- Guess what, people still havent figured out earthquakes - Earth simulator - XBox Live on Wired - Phone games are getting cooler - Possible end of Comdex?
Lastly, so we got that silly Animal Crossing game here at home the other day, and it does nothing for me but the woman is already hooked. It seems all you have to do is simulate trivial day to day chores and activities on a pc or console system and you've got half the female market! The GameCube showing up here at home is of course in preperation for Metroid Prime, which allegedly wont suck.

  • The queer world of IrDA. For years I have seen IR ports on comptuer shit. Laptops have had tiny little ones, palms, pocket pcs, printers and more. I have also seen for years IrDA headers on motherboards. What I have never seen in masse are IrDA Rx/Tx for the PC. For some reason, it just hasnt caught on. You would think I could find such a simple toy easily and cheap - but NOOO. Even my cellphone has an IrDA port on it that is basically useless for me. The header for my EpoX mobo supports an EpoX IrDA thingy thats ~$40! EeeeeeeeEEEEK!!!
