I installed dX9 and the Beta Cat's for my 9700. Unfortunatly i did not have system restore enabled. My comp is COMPLETLY messed up. Direct3D: Not available DirectDraw: Not available AGP Textures: Not available....
I'm still trying to find a way to fix the system, I really dont want to format. Anyone know of a way to get back to dX8.1 w/o formating?
I've uninstalled the new cat's, reinstalled old cat's, and now i have these 2.4's on...still things are the same as they were.
Obviously this is not a problem with my video card, but with DirectX 9. Any comment/help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

The new drivers install fine, but when I restart after installing them, my computer stops loading and restarts, after the "WINDOWS XP Loading..." Screen. I have downloaded them multiple times, and reinstalled about five times. Same thing happens. I have a ATI Radeon 9700 Pro.
Any ideas?
