Metroid Prime Time
On the technical side of things, too, there is a lot to fall in love with. Metroid Prime's engine is perhaps the most stunning I've seen on GameCube. Like the gameplay design, the foundation that supports it is very, very polished. Load times are nearly non-existent as you travel from world to world. It's just like the previous Metroids. Loading is hidden behind the opening of doors and traveling down elevators (a short process). Furthermore, the art direction is stunning, jaw-dropping, fantastic, extravagant, lavish, and every other positive adjective you can think of. The worlds look organic with totally unique architecture that will absolutely blow your mind. It's a completely believable sci-fi environment, and the art direction plays a huge part in that.
Jack's claims to have worked on the game, so humor the guy just like you humor my godawful headlines.

I don't doubt that'd be true for JUST this game, but not for nintendo in the long run.
-If you really want it and can only get it on gamecube, then you might buy a gamecube (which they make a little bit of money off of, unlike MS)
-Once oyu have the gamecube, you're more likely to buy more gamecube games, especially exclusive ones. Nintendo makes cash on every one of these.
If you bought it for pc, it could be the only game you'd ever buy that nintendo ever made a dollar off of. Plus, no one would be likely to get more gamecube exclusive games.
Think of GTA:VC. If GTA3 had been ps2 exclusive, a lot more people would be buying gta:vc (not that it's doing badly), and a lot more people buying ps2's right now. Instead, a lot of people are waiting for the pc port, since gta3 had a pc port. It sets a precedent.
It's long term strategy vs short term hard cash.
