Another C&C Generals Delay

GameSpy Daily, which first had word of a C&C Generals delay from this year to January (story), is now reporting that EA Pacific's 3D RTS has been delayed again. Not a big delay, from January 21 until February 11. Public testing of this game should start pretty soon.

So glad that my MP test CD is in the mail. First I did Yuri's revenge, and then Renegade, and now Generals. Someone at EA/WW loves me or I just have fantastic luck when it comes to getting in on tests.

www.evilavar.com says it was a strategic delay because EA has "such a strong lineup" till early 2003. Means they're not neccessarily still working in it, they're just leaving it in the warehouse to wait for a more profitable time to release it.

I'm REALLY looking forward to this game. Can't wait for a demo to see if it is going to live up to expectations....

I can live with the delay, not sure why a 3 week delay is news though.
