SOF2 PunkBuster Update

Looks like the auto-updater of PunkBuster in Soldier of Fortune 2 is busted, and so a manual patch has been released to update the anti-cheating program. Thanks ashkie. We have a mirror here.

raven has released single and multiplayer demos, linux server, single and multiplayer SDK, updated the SDK, and two pointreleases that included new weapons and maps. if that isn't quality service then what the hell is. i don't see valve doing anything that raven isn't.

Raven seems to have turned its back on SoF2. Punkbuster's poorly tested code is, sadly, going to kill one of the better FPS games currently out there.

where the hell are you guys getting the idea that they aren't supporting SOF2

the problem (which seems more like a punkbuster problem than SOF2) has been fixed.

just because raven doesn't respond to the thread doesn't mean they aren't aware of or aren't going to fix an issue.

everything i have seen from raven tells me they are working pretty hard keeping SOF2 running smoothly, new maps, weapons, and anticheat with updates.

I think its due to the server sending out messages to clients that havent updated. Those are all scrolling quite frequently in my console and I'm sure its causing some problems somewhere.
