Some interesting screenshots on C&C Universe, as they have some images from C&C Renegade 2. Not that we're actually gonna see the end result, as the game was cancelled pretty shortly after development started.

I did not particularly like the graphics or the single player of the first one.

These dont look that impressive either...
Having said that I still wish they would have made the sequel, I was a huge fan of the multiplayer, and it is the only team based game I've really enjoyed.

It had a unique feel, and I wish they would not have cancelled it.

yeah, I enjoyed 1 as well, but dang it, the netcode, the netcode, the netcode!

the concept was awesome, and a lot of fun, especially when the team work was good. nothing like getting together an APC run, just like you would do in 2d C&C.

Renegade is still the only game I play online, even with the release of UT2k3.

I think the team concept is awesome, I'm just saddened by the fact that theres no good new maps.

I would like confirmation from WW that these screenshots are legit tho, even if they arent working on it anymore.

Damn, those look really good. It's a shame this game was cancelled cause (I thought) both the SP and MP were really good. The game had it's share of problems, but overally was totally worthile.

If you were a few less hits and the netcode worked better Renegade would of been a kickass game :( And I was hoping that Renegade 2 would of fixed those problems, cause the concept is solid and entertaining.
