It's all ATI this christmas

I am gonna be all over that regular 9700, Only a 50MHz O/c to Pro speeds on the core, and then 40mhz on the memory and you've got a 9700 pro.... sign me up. Ati is going to destroy Nvidias linep with these cards.... a competitor to the 4600 that outpreforms it by 75%, and a competitor to the 4200 and 4400 that is 505 faster than those. Only the brainwashed and/or stupd will buy Gf4's once these cards hit shelves. Call me a Fanatic.

Seems like a marketing mess to me, different cards providing different clock speeds, pixel pipelines, DX support, made by different manufacturer's and one manufacturer, with different pricepoints along all their lines, different labels with different numbers (9700 pro/9700 9500/9500 pro, AIW 9500 pro/AIW 9500)

Not to say Nvidia is much better. I would give each tier a different name
Geforce = performance = 4600
Gefoo = mainstream = 4400/4200
Gefag = MX line/cheapos

Keep each branch down to 3 total product lines. Consumers can then tell at a glance what your tiers are. But I guess these guys know what they are doing. I follow this pretty closely as a semi-enthusiast/investor and I can't remember the tiers without a little side research to verify what tech is on what card...

God dammit i just orderd a nvidia ti4600 cause i thought it would be a while before radeon 9700 when down in price!!!
