Some of you people have to be the most impatient ungrateful whiney fucks I have ever seen..

Sometime I want someone to explain to me how all these "Mods" and "unofficial patches" are not cheats? Add blood so you can better tell when you hit someone? How is that any different then adding a ding in CS? Changing the arrow so its clearer on the mini map? There are more (see the latest informative posts, and look in this thread). Granted, these are not along the lines as the aim-bots, but these are still cheats! I remember a friend of mine who competed in q3a (well, q1 and then for a bit in q3) and he had pak files that added the triangle to the opponent, forced model to be the big fat guy, and added a ding if he got a hit. He said it wasnt cheating because everyone who played competetively had the same paks -- everyone in his clan did too he assured me.

If they change the arrow, add the blood patch, etc all into an official patch - so be it, it will be great -- but until its official or its an official mod and you have to join a server w/ the same mod and everyone playing on the server has the mod, its still a cheat

I do agree that the game was rushed. I remember hearing it going gold and the multiplayer demo had been released not long before it. Nonetheless, keep working hard on it and improve it as much as possible, because it is truly a fun and exciting game!

Download the blood patch and you won't have any client side prediction problems

i dont see why they need to add client prediction, i have no trouble hitting moving targets at all.

View distance cheat? Am i the only one that hates the default view distance?

I hope they do a good job on the voting system. If they forgot, for instance, flood controls on calling votes it could become another tool for morons instead of a weapon against them.

Unfortunately, client prediction improvements will not be included.
