IGI2 Delay

According to this forum post by a Codemasters QA team leader, the first person shooter IGI2: Covert Strike has been delayed until February 2003. They feel too much had to be sacrificed to get the game out this year. Thanks blah blah. More information on this game is available at Codemasters.com.

The addition of multi-player is obviously causing they considerable problems.

I just hope it's worth a delay of almost a year (it was originally due out in March this year).

btw the original is well worth picking up on budget. Be warned though it's not without significant flaws.

I really enjoyed the first one despite its poor graphics and AI and such. I'm kinda looking forward to this game and while I'm glad they don't want to skimp or release a shitty product I can't help but be disappointed.

I'll still buy it when it comes out though.

good. If they'd rushed this and ended up with spawning ai and crap, or negligible engine enhancements it would have been lame.
