its not the videocard. turning every option on full doesnt change the framerate at all. its some sort of bug.
other info if you care is 512 megs ram, winxp.
every other game runs very smooth.

PIII 1GHz/GF3 40.52driver/512MB/WinXP all graphic options at max except "detail textures" which I turned off. Also Hardware Sound disabled. Getting a steady ~40fps.
No hitches or slowdowns at all. Downing the rez to 1024x768 doesn't really provide a framerate boost so I kept it at 1152x864. Going up to 12x10 and 16x12 runs a bit too slow though.
Excellent game btw, although a little short.
how come it runs like ass on my xp2200+ ?
some maps its constantly under 20 fps. no matter what options i turn off.
