I used to play DAOC, until it got very repetitive. It was cool while the "new" was still on it.

Agreed. I played it until I figured out that only about 5% of the population on the RP servers were actually there to RP - and that there would never be more than about 5%. I lasted nearly a year before giving up on it.

which means you just gave up yesterday, or recently, it's about a year old now

I think MMORPGs have to be played for a while, and then given a break. I just finished about a four month break from Camelot. I reactivated my account last night, and I'm actually pretty excited to start playing again. I'm sure that will last for around three months or so, and then I'll need another break.

Yeah, I found it fun while there were still quests to do. I gave up around level 30, it was totally boring after about 27ish.

played till level 36 then decided the leveling curve just got too steep and there was only 1 dungeon to leveling. booooooooooooring.

I'm only a lvl 30 Healer but still enjoying playing. I think that the new MMORPG's coming out will arrive just in time to stop the rot setting in. Warhammer on-line looks promising.

Just tried to sign up for the Shrouded Isles beta testing and what do ya know. USA servers only! Oh well, back to my good old European server!
