So yesterday, thanks to Gamer.nl, I found out that No One Lives Forever 2 isn't shipping this week here in the Netherlands. In fact, it's not due until October 18. WTF, Sierra. This makes a mule cry. What have Europeans done to be punished like this! Movie: I'm being toyed with by a bunch of depraved children

  • To joystick or not to joystick, the bf1942 question

Well, I plugged back in the ol Wingman Force 3d and fired up bf1942 and found it still isnt for me. When I fly mouse, I can not do quick rolls and turns, I run out of mouse pad room. Also, pulling up from a steep dive is hard as shit. HOWEVER, I can run straight in on a target and unload on their ass. I am quickly and easily shot down tho.

HOWEVER, when I play with the joystick, I have no ability to fly straight. When I come down for an attack, its by pure luck that I blow shit up. In the air, you cant track me cause im all over the place, but I cant track you either. When I fly in for something, Im constantly having to compinsate for my planes wings going back and forth. Also, throttle is pure ASS. on or off and 50% is stop?!?! This is gay.

I think sensativity is a question on my joystick. I barely pull left, and ive made a full turn. I have the twist set to turn my rudder (what is a and d on keyboard fly). The actual stick is just like how I do the mouse. I do like having all these buttons, especially using the hatswitch for quick map view/change. When I bomb a target its easy to quickly zoom in on the map and see if its a friendly bellow me. THIS, I love! Also, quick switching between angles helps confirm a hit or miss on bomb drop, big pluss. All these I can do keyboard and mouse, but harder.

Ideas, suggestions? Oh and before you say it, of COURSE I calibrated the stick, but in the logitech controls that has nothing to do, it seems, with sensativity
