Holy smokes that stuff is expensive. Never realized the difference in price between the US and Canada...

i hate to say this but im a former speakeasy customer and they fucking suck...
switching backbones constantly.. poor service.... long tech support waits.. my advice is to go with a local provider, national isp's suck, always have, always will speakeasy is to a lesser degree of evil like aol...

speaking of dsl and stuff... does anyone know if using a linksys dsl sharing router causes any differences in online gaming connections? i notice that when i connect my pc directly to my dsl modem, web pages load in a much "snappier" manner. this has lead me to believe that there is perhaps some "overhead" in the router that might affect my onling gaming performance? i haven't really had the time to test out with and without router gaming back to back but i'm wondering...

Any advantage over normal Cable Speeds? My cable is usually really fast, but i'd switch for the static IP's if ShackDSL was just as fast.
