How does this game work? Basically one team are the white western imperialists who come in and indescriminately kill the other team, who are black, and then after taking a few casualties, flee and go make maudlin movies about the experience to help stir up war fever for the next adventure? Thought so.

Here is Nova's suggestion on fixing EZ Pad

"NovaLogic has released a new build of the official multiplayer demo of Delta Force - Black Hawk Down that does not include the ezpad software.

This is due to a number of responses from consumers experiencing difficulties with the NetQuartz ezpad technology included in the demo.

Consumers who have already downloaded the demo Version 10 will be able to update the game to Version 11 by clicking on the 'Update Game' button in game, once this update has installed, consumers will then be able to uninstall the ezpad technology and play with the demo as normal. To fully uninstall ezpad, right click on the ezpad icon on the task bar, and select quit, then uninstall the software via the ADD/REMOVE Programs option in the control panel.

NovaLogic Inc would like to apologies to those customers who have experienced difficulties."

however I uninstalled the software and now when I try to run the game I get "PAD setup error: cannot retrieve the IPC path from registry"

Ok it dont work all i gets is a trojan looking program. I'll try this game again when when i shit a monkey outta my ass that can code a better game.

ok that ez pad thing is SO lame... you click the desktop shortcut to run the game and the ez pad thing pops up and tries to connect you to the net... but if you're ALREADY connected it just sits there or (if you're on a networked computer like I am now) it says "cannot connect to server" so you're SOL...

bad move Nova...

lol when i try to run the demo it just sits at the connecting to internet screen. im on cable so its always on. i did the update program and still didnt help. lol nice demo novalogic

I tried the beta. It's not completely horrible, but pretty much forgettable. Especially with BF1942 out.

Will probably try this once again, to see if it has improved since the beta.
