In the intrest of getting work done, I'm gonna take a much needed vacation from teh shack. Hopefully I'll actually get some real work done and have some really cool stuff to talk about when I come back. I swear, this place is like virtual crack. Not that I've ever done crack... uhh.. okie.

One last weird thing... I hate computer labs. I dunno. I prefer to listen to instruction/lecutres/whatever and then go to a computer and work on the stuff. I find that sitting behind a terminal/laptop/whatever is much too distracting (take a guess why). Oddly enough, I'm the only one in class who seems to turn off the monitor during the lecture. Oh well... time flies when you're not paying attention.

Ok, this is the last time I post this for real this time, informative was promised

When BF1942 comes out, I will be taking down the demo server in order to put up a retail server. I don't think 64 players is possible on the current box. Also, when UT2k3 comes out I don't think I'll be able to run a server for it unless I get another box from somewhere. If you guys are going to continue to want Shack servers and for me to put the time into them, you are going to have to donate boxes or cash for a new server and I'll host them. If you want to donate anything towards a server or you are just feeling generous, you can PayPal me @ ashke@ashke.org. Keep in mind, I do appreciate the donations and if I get enough, they will go towards a new server but thats all I'll promise. You won't get admin, you won't be exempt from being banned if you act like a fool or anything like that. I've already invested a lot of time and bandwidth and server time to Shack servers already on my own (RA3, JK2, AA, SOF2, BF1942 and even NWN), so if you want to help then feel free. If not, thats ok too. I won't ask again, since I don't like to ask people for money, but if you want me to continue Shack servers, this is your shot. This is what I had in mind.

Holy Fucking Shit.

I just called to get cable connected at my new apartment since I canont use DirectTV there. For $40.02 per month I will be getting every single movie channel and tier programming available through Cox (excapt Pay Per View). All I have to do is give them my shitty DirectTV dish and receiver and that price is good for 12 months. They are coming Saturday to hook the service up.

On my bike ride to work I noticed that there were pairs of police everywhere downtown. A whole block in front of the courthouse was shut down and there were two firetrucks there with a huge flag hanging between their extended arms.
