Dante vs The Cockroach}g
Round 1
The Cockroach made a strong start. His appearance out of the blue on Dante's leg while he was sitting on the floor folding resumes was an early, unexpected knockdown. Dante countered weakly by jumping around, cursing, and fleeing into the kitchen like a little girl. His weak comeback attempt involved chasing The Cockroach around the ring, with The Cockroach easily evading these blundering ham-fisted attacks. The round ended with The Cockroach trying to hide his laughter at Dante's feeble attempts.

The Cockroach came into this round hoping for a repeat of his first round action, appearing out of nowhere on the couch right in front of Dante. Unfortunately for The Cockroach, Dante]b had come prepared. In his corner between rounds, he picked up some good tips from his cut man, Mr. Paper Towel. Dante feinted the little-girl routine again, and The Cockroach fell for it and moved in for the kill. Dante dropped the act and quickly countered by slapping a him like a little bitch off the couch. The Cockroach realized he was in trouble, and went back into his evasion tactics. But Dante was onto him this time. A fierce left on the magazine pile was followed by a quick right with the paper towels. The Cockroach looked hurt bad, and Dante fell his feint and opened the towel a bit to see if he'd done him in. Sucker! The Cockroach landed a quick jab and started his evasion routine with a quickness, but not quick enough. Dante wasn't falling for any of the wounded routine anymore. Tracking The Cockroach across the ring, Dante knocked him out with a wicked roundhouse. I don't think we'll be seeing a rematch here, either, Doc.
