New Neverwinter Nights Patch
by Maarten Goldstein, Aug 26, 2002 2:57pm PDTBioWare sends word that a non-beta 1.23 patch for Neverwinter Nights has been released through the ingame auto-updater. Multiplayer code has been improved and SecureROM disk checking has been removed among other things. Update: A manual patch is out now as well. You can find it on FileShack as always.

It made the game unuse-able for many poeple.
For others, it made the game take forver to launch. Like, start it, go make lunch, come back and play.

This is a very nice thing for those of us having problems with it. I don't think I've heard of a company doing this so soon after release before. Bio must either have a lot of sway with their new publisher or lots of people were reporting errors with it.
