Normally i would forget about a game wich demo doesn't run due to refreshrate/Windows XP problems. But since you guys are so positive about it's gameplay (and the devs say the problem is fixed) i will buy BF1942 and check out the action.

Note to developer: please patch the demo

I still can't get this thing to run once. I always get dumped back to the desktop. I've got the latest Nvidia Drivers and I've tried using RefreshLock to set them all to 60...still quits. Anyone have any ideas?

It blows my mind that this game offers other maps covering other parts of World War 2. I'd buy it if it were just the pacific or just europe. Hell, id buy it if it only had a few maps from the pacific.

This game never ceases to amaze me.

Anyone know how the indoor areas will look like? I'm not expecting them to be spectacular but if it can provide good indoor areas as well (like the ruined city in MOH) then it will exceed my expectations. Frankly, what it provides right now is fine with me. I just like fun.

I don't know...there's not much variety in this game. I mean...it's either fight on foot, in a tank, in a half-track, in an APC, in a boat, in a plane, or in a mounted gun. I mean...come on can't they mix it up a little?!!!!
