According to a CNET story, videocard maker VisionTek hasn't gone out of business quite yet (story). Creditors have appointed a trustee, but the company will remain in business for the time being while the trustee tries to determine if the company can be sold. Tech support should continue as well, however CNET mentions that "Telephone calls made Monday and Tuesday to VisionTek's main number and tech-support line went unanswered".

Another story reported by the crack press and so called news reporters. Do people even verify these reports or simply post links? If you are Joe knucklehead I can see it but not news soruces and news replicators.

Aren't they the ones who have that all-emcompasing HSF on their GF4 cards? That one that covers both the chipset and RAM.

I read that while it looks cool, it's actually less efficient than the reference board HSF spec. Huh.

I almost bought one of these cards. That would have been a bummer,seeing how it would have been replacing an elsa video card which replaced a creative card.Um,they all had nvidia's chips.
