i came up with it because at one point i used to say \"word.\" to say i agree with someone else (much like those rad gangster rap guys, but said by a computer geek so it was.. yeah. anyways)
but, that took two hands to type out, and i was busy surfing the net with my right hand (and other things) so... i replaced the \"o\" with an \"e\" since it was on the left side of the keyboard.
the meaning of werd thing kinda evolved, but thems the roots.
