I find myself up late working on FileShack related things these days so I dont think those 8am updates are gonna work out for a while. Speaking of FileShack, I realized yesterday that we were missing a certain main category on FileShack, so last night racing/driving was added. It's kinda empty right now but all the crowd favorites will be added soon. Movie: Obviously she's crazy if she's screwing a shrink.

Knoppix is a live linux installation compressed to CD. You boot up from the cd, it sets up a ramdrive, and decompresses a fully functional Debian linux installation with KDE3 and everything. It has OpenOffice, KOffice, a shitload of network and system restore apps, games, and all kinds of goofy shit you'd expect to find in a Linux install. And it fits on one CD.
All you people just itching to try Linux out, this is the way to do it! No install, partitioning, software config, etc. Just download the ISO, burn it, boot it, and you are good to go.
I plan on using this cd for two things: When I'm on site and want to do some network diagnostics (I work for a wireless ISP, that stuff is important) and when I want to surf the web, do work, send mail, etc. at someone else's computer but I don't have to input any of my personal data.
I am unbelievably impressed with this. THIS is why open source is useful, forget your commercial distros.

I've replayed this "kill the mafia boss" mission 1 on island 2 mission about twentytwo times now. The third or fourth time I played it I managed to complete it, but I'm not at home right now so I had to start over a few missions back where my brother was. I asked for help the other day as you can see above but I still cant do it. Its humorous the ways I fail the mission in. Its different for each time pretty much.
Ive managed to complete the mission itself twice now. The first time I was like 'YES!!!!!!!!!' and walked out on the street only to get a shotgun round in my face and die. Oops, looks like the Mafia hates me now. The second time I ran carefully and snagged a car, but theres no way in hell I can drive out of that area without getting shot to bits. Their shotguns set fire to my car in ONE SHOT. After I jump out I get five shotgun rounds in my face.
I will never complete this mission. Someone send me a savefile :(

It's an interesting contrast from the TV show "Cops", that's for sure... I suppose that video would be NWS, even though the officers weren't charged with anything :)
In addition to the alleged police brutality (the guy they were arresting was a moron, but anyway :)), the Video Vigilante also posted this:
"On 7/10/02 I was asked by OCPD detective Scott Samuels to come to the police department for an "interview." This interview quickly became an interrogation when I was locked in a small room with the detective. Det. Samuels tried to intimidate me by making false statements and trying to make me agree to them. Among those false statements was that the arresting officer DID NOT order me to hand him his metal baton. Instead, Det. Samuels stated that the officer's back was to me and that there was no way he could have gave such instructions. He accused me of giving the officer the baton without being told to do so just so the officer could beat the suspect. These frames clearly show the officer pointing to his baton and ordering me to give it to him. I then sat down my camera and complied."

I never once attacked your taste in music in that post. I was only talking about the aformentioned Japanese artists in particular. I have no problem with your taste in music. You asked me whether or not I liked the track you linked me to yesterday, and so I responded.
If you judge people solely on their taste in music you wont get anywhere.
Who's judging who? I didn't say "venger listens to ayumi, he sucks" or anything to that effect. I basically saying the song didn't sway my likingness (is that a word?) of her music. You are entertained by her music, I have yet to be. Nothing wrong with that. I'm not trying to sway anyones opinions either. I was simply stating mine. And if you could convince me otherwise (since you've listened to her stuff more than I, and there might have been a diamond in the rough that I may have missed), I think that'd be just dandy! Regardless of who sings what, everyones had their share of "duds." A "dud" alone, of course, is subjective to the listener, and your introduction to something to another, that ends up being as a "winner" amongst "duds"

this card has both rgb and dvi connectors, right? and you can hook both up and enable twinview to take advantage of both monitors? (correct me if i'm wrong, please!) could i buy a DVI->RGB convertor and use two normal monitors with it? my boss thinks so, but i'm not totally sure.
