Empire Earth Expansion Beta
by Maarten Goldstein, Aug 05, 2002 2:05pm PDTAs promised, Sierra has released the Empire Earth: The Art of Conquest beta test. This test will allow you to take a look at the upcoming expansion for the 3D strategy title Empire Earth. The beta, which you can download from FileShack, offers a single multiplayer map playable through all 15 of the expansion pack's ages. It also shows the new units, powers, and buildings. The Art of Conquest beta is a 278mb download. More information about Empire Earth and the expansion can be found on Sierra's official site. Note: you do not need the original game for this beta.

Anyways, there was one big unbalance in the game:
You know the hounds you never use? Well, go ahead and produce a few dozen of them. With your 10 soldiers at hand (thats all ya need) shout out "RELEASE THE HOUNDS" and let them wander, they'll draw fire from every defensive building, every priest, just about every damn thing and will rarely get hit.. Meanwhile your offensive dudes can go to work unharmed.
i go to join or host a game, and right after everyone clicks ready and the game is about to load, it kicks me out to the main menu!
anyone else having this problem? :(
