I have Tribes 2 but never learned how to pick it up. The game comes with basically no documentation. I went the extra mile (you should NEVER have to hit fan sites to learn how to play a game,,, that's retarded) and got all the newbie FAQs I could find and played (tried anyway) for several hours.
The more I played, the more questions I had. So, I made the mistake of a lifetime and created a (one! Just one!) forum topic in one of the big Tribes 2 fan sites. I was ripped high and low and basically told not to bother the Tribes 2 community with that kind of crap anymore.
Think it was one person writing be back? I got that same response from a dozen people in the Tribes 2 community.
If the Tribes 2 community is not going to die, the Tribes 2 community needs to desperately get their heads out of their butts. Playing Tribes 2 is THE most difficult online fps there is bar none. No question about it. You people need to embrace all newbies and help them along.
After my rude introduction to the T2 community, I just uninstalled T2 and said F*** it. I had bought the game and was MORE than willing to learn it. I think the game could rock! Too bad the community is staffed wall-to-wall with assholes.
