Chrome Screenshots
by Maarten Goldstein, Jul 30, 2002 9:59am PDTThe Adrenaline Vault has six new Chrome screenshots, showing more from this sci-fi FPS. A demo for this game was in the works but it's been postponed while developer Techland fine tunes the missions, AI and graphics.

"fine tuning missions" -> "chucking enough junk levels to stretch total game-play time over 3 hrs"
"fine tuning AI" -> "kludge the 'self-aware neural network' to stop the mobs headbutting the nearest wall just long enough to talke the odd pot-shot at the player"
"fine tuning the graphics" -> "Is that a crate or some inter-dimensional demonic-being just about to rip my head off?"
Looks real nice though.

Urk, I'm all confusled. In any case the shots look promising. I'm glad to hear that they're that close to a demo, I just assumed for some reason that all those games were early/mid 2003. (Unlike UT2003, which is slated for late 2002, heh.)
Good time to be a gamer in any case. :)m
