Jedi Knight 2 Server Tip

It would be really, really, really, really nice if Raven would just include the fucking pak files in the server updates. What if you don't own the game? What if the game is no longer installed on your computer and you have no plans to reinstall it just to update your server?

How are you to acquire the new pak media for the update?

Interesting Server & misc settings:

seta g_saberghoul2collision 0 - Less Saber Blocking.
seta g_sabertracesaberfirst 0 - Less Saber Blocking.
seta g_saberdamagescale 2 - Saber Damage x 4 (Default 1)
(4x - Prevents special move and kick spam.)

seta disable_item_medpac 1 - No Bacta Tanks.
seta disable_item_medpak_instant 1 - No Health Packs.
seta disable_item_shield_lrg_instant 1 - No Large Shields.
seta disable_item_shield_sm_instant 1 - No Small shields.

seta g_forceregentime 100 - Force Regeneration Doubled (default 200).

seta g_dismember 300 - Full dismemberment.

Turn On Dismemberment:

1. Join a server that supports this ...
2. Hit the key "Shift" and "~" at the same time - this toggles the console.
3. Type the following "/cg_dismember 300" without the quotes (press the enter key).
4. Play the game - you should see body dismemberment.


Set Your Rate - DSL and Cable Users:

1. Join a server
2. Hit the key "Shift" and "~" at the same time - this toggles the console.
3. Type the following "rate 10000" (four zeros) without the quotes (press the enter key).
4. You should get lag-free gaming.


Enable Taunting:

1. Join a server ...
2. Hit the key "Shift" and "~" at the same time - this toggles the console.
3. Type the following: "/bind key +taunt" without the quotes (press the enter key).
4. Key = any key on the keyboard you want to use for taunts.
5. Play the game - you should be able to taunt with that key.
