Oh and about the Audigy, it plays back at 24/96, that's what the DAC's can do, it only records at 20/48 (Limited by the ADC), but the E-mu E10Kx DSP's are 24 bit path, 32 bit float internally.
santa cruz does indeed rock. no problems with via+p3 like i had with my sblive.

Would have liked to see the nforce audio, and the game theater xp represented as well.
Heartily reccomend it.
I've done some looking around, and the Phillips Acoustic Edge seems to be a winner. Does anybody have any recommendations for good all-around cards -- something I can game with, but something that I can use to play MP3s (with a 5.1 speaker set) and still be happy with the sound quality?
