Neverwinter Nights GONE GOLD!

Neverwinter Nights has just GONE GOLD according to the PR we just received a little while ago. If you dig on the whole RPG thing and like Dungeons & Dragons style theme stuff chances are you'll want to play this. Here's the release, some info, and some screenshots

Neverwinter Nights was designed to be everything anybody could ever want in a D&DT role-playing game," said Ray Muzyka, Joint CEO of BioWare Corp and Co-Executive Producer of Neverwinter Nights. "The development team - a group of exceptionally creative, smart people - has done an amazing job: Neverwinter Nights has an incredibly engaging 60-100 hour official campaign, playable in either single-player or in multiplayer mode. Is it just me or is Bioware one of the few gaming companies these days that actually "GETS IT"? They seem to be doing a lot of things right, which is more than can be said for most game design companies.

I hope this game lives up to everything it appears to be.

Question: is this a party based RPG? Do you choose and control 4 or 5 different characters (i.e. Icewind Dale) or just 1?

I've been looking for decent RPG for awhile now.. Something to waste some time on. I've only played one before.. Exile for the mac like 10 years ago or so.. It was party based and I thought it was cool.

The screenshots and movies look really good. I enjoyed Dungeon Siege along with its awesome graphics but thought that perhaps it should be a little more indepth then the point and click game that it was. It just didn't have a lot of replayability. I think that NWN will be the game that I was looking for. Great graphics, an actual deep storyline and a fun multiplayer game.

It's freakish how badly this game looks (graphically) in screen shots compared to in video. Seeing it in MOVEMENT is a big improvment, it actually DOESN'T look like a sack of shit when you play.
