Evening Reading
by Steve Gibson, Jun 10, 2002 6:00pm PDTOk, so you remember back when you were a kid in school and there was this incredibly hot chick that you didnt really know or ever talked to for some reason? Alright think back to that one time during lunch when everyone was squeezing through the door trying to get into the cafeteria... she brushed up against you and you just got the willies from making contact with her right? Yeah, ER is better than that willies feeling you got in grade school. THAT IS HOW DAMN GOOD THIS IS.

I am hoping my trouble with mouse sticking while playing CS under XP is a mouse hardware issue (maybe the mouse cable is screwed) rather than a drivers issue or I'm going to set fire to my PC.
Why is it impossible to get a three button USB mouse *without* a mouse wheel these days? I'm being forced to learn WASD! My "middle button to move backwards" preference is being subverted! Help me!

And in the it-could-have-been-worse department, the New York Post picks up this report:
"The terrorists who struck the World Trade Center and the Pentagon also reportedly targeted Big Ben on Sept. 11 – but England's most famous landmark was spared because flights out of London were grounded following the attacks in the United States.
"CBS News reported last night that al Qaeda hijackers were at Heathrow Airport and were prepared to hijack a plane to slam into the famed Houses of Parliament, but left because no flights were taking off. Rohan Gunaratna, whose book, 'Inside al Qaeda,' will be published this week by Columbia University Press, told CBS that the 9/11 terror would have gone international had the terrorists foreseen the grounding of flights.
"The alleged would-be Big Ben attacker, Afroz Muhammed, was arrested in India, and security agents there gave documents to CBS that indicated he had confessed to the British hijack plan."
