Seems that the introduction of our new rules went over pretty well, though the people they apply to knew they were coming already. But hey you always have a few people who then try and bitch about things anyway, but not this time. So during Memorial Day weekend we went out and saw Episode 2 and Insomnia. I actually like Episode 2. Didn't think I would, but as far as Star Wars movies go it was pretty good. Insomnia was pretty damn good. Al Pacino is just such a great actor, as is Robin Williams when he does non-comedy stuff. Glad to see Christopher Nolan could also work his magic on a big budget movie. Very much recommended.

My friend wanted to spar, without going for the face, but my instincts from being in many a fight in grade school were to fake toward the body and then pound em in the face. Good thing I stopped myself each time... I've concluded that I can't do sparring. I told him sorry every time I hit him, and he'd laugh at me.
I hope it doesn't take me too long to get back into decent shape.

Do these missions in portland BEFORE youve pissed off the gangs, especially the triads. Your rewards are a health powerup (40), an adrenile pill (75 I think), and infinite run (complete level 12)
The ambulence holds 3 people, fill it up then go back to the hospital. Floor it right away to get your radar zoomed out so you can see where the peoiple are, so you can try to do it sections at a time (dock/bridge area, red light/Chinatown, harwwod/St marks) try to save St marks for last as it is close to the hospital. And of course drive as fast as you can, use the siren (it works 75% of the time to get people out of your way), and brake then turn! The big white beast fips over very easy, and is a bitch to control when it is on two of the side wheels.
And above all, know where you are going, and take shortcuts when you can safly do them. Big bumps and accidents will kill your patients. Yuo can also drive away as soon as they start getting into the ambulence to save time.
Allthough, once I did have a patient fallout, and I had to go back and pick him up.

You can shoot fireballs and use magic apparently but I never figured out how to cast spells. You're also supposed to catch and eat stuff, but I could never get my dragon's view looking at the ground. For all I know there were squirrels massing a rebellion beneath me.
All in all I would not buy this game.

My problem: My two standalone players (a 1999 Sony DVP-S530D and a 2001 Toshiba SD2300-U, which is a POS BTW and my reason to ban Toshiba for the next ten years) will not play some chapters (around chapter 43 or so) of my T2 Ultimate Edition DVD-18 (I have the double sided disk) and some other unimportant stuff from some other DVDs.
My Pioneer DVD-ROM plays all of this without any problems, so I guess the DVDs should be ok.
