There's a bit up on GameSpot announcing that they will be showing some "exclusive game content" from DOOM, C&C Generals, and StarWars Bounty Hunter at E3. You'll have to sign up for GameSpot Complete to see the video footage though.

DOOM iii: I truly hope id software steps up to the plate and releases their own 'rolling demo' or atleast high quality video of what they will showcasing at e3. I am hoping they release it on Wednesday of next week. If this is going to be the 1st 'official' footage that
us, the end users/consumers' are going to see why should it be under the power of Gamespot and substandard quality (cam)? Id should, as I stated earlier, cut it off at the head and release their own trailer or rolling demo to show this puppy off!!

If id is finally willing to let some high quality footage of Doom out the door, I think that implies that we may be fairly close to seeing a tech demo. By fairly close, I mean still a few months out like by august or september, but that's as opposed to next christmas.

I still kinda doubt id will let anything leave E3, and I really doubt they'd authorize shaky cam footage, so I guess I'll just have to believe it when I see it.

Gamespot would like to think that would have an exclusive,
but not only will their "content" be on about 30 servers after they
post it, theres no way in hell ID would be stupid enough to let

Gamespot is even worse than IGN now. They make you pay if you want to read 2year+ old reviews?! I use GameFaqs a lot and they always link to Gamespot's reviews for all their games and now it's useless if I want some more info on old games.
