C&C Renegade Website & Shots

Westwood Studios has opened up their C&C Renegade web page (which briefly opened before but they ganked it) The new page features some pretty pictures and a bit more detail on the new 3D action game.     They\'re not faked. Anyone who has seen that PC Zone video trilogy knows that it\'s all real-time. The commando\'s player model, and its animation, is actually very well done.

    Oh, and just what\'s so bad about 3rd-person perspectives? That can really help out for games where you need more feedback about what your character is doing. Heretic II would have been difficult, if not impossible, to manage with a 1st-person view. I certainly wouldn\'t brand C&C Renegade or Halo as being bad simply because the camera is moved above and behind your character - especially in Halo\'s case! That is, to be frank, the best-looking game I\'ve seen yet.
