New Mobile Forces Demo

Rage Software let us know they will be releasing an updated demo for Mobile Forces tomorrow. The 75mb download will contain the same level and game mode, but will be significantly tweaked. Among many changes are the additions of player voices, rebalanced weapons, improved networking code, improved stability and improved performance.

The best part about the first demo was how you could launch people across the maps with the trip mines. Turn friendly fire off, and have a teammate drop a trip mine and jump into it. If you time it right, POW! To the moon, Alice!

Looking forward to this. The last demo was pretty good. OK the gfx aren't the best, but damn it, it was fun! If they've optimised the engine somewhat then this will rock. They need to sort dedicated server out too; too many servers out there running on ppls PCs where they have 0 ping and yours goes up and down more than a kangaroo shagging a spacehopper on a trampoline.
