ShackES pointed the way to this Canadian video looking at some troubles facing internet cafe's and regulations, in addition there's some footage of Counter-Strike2 in development (just some models) and Gooseman talking about it. If you had any doubt Counter-Strike2 was being worked on, doubt no longer. (This story already confirmed it a while ago btw)

I watched that show on TV last week.. The BC government is basically bitching that these internet cafes are gang and drug scenes.. That they are in violation of "arcade" closing times since they say, that's what they basically are seeing as all they run is CS on many PC's.. One of the dudes that owns one of those "arcades" is fighting in court to have the BC government back off..

It also showed <whatever his name is - creator of CS> working in his nice biga$$ house on the next CS.. He says he's really nervous because of the success of the original CS -- he knows people are expecting A LOT from him with this next incarnation of the game..

Interesting clip. I hope Minh (Gooseman) and gang pull through and release something good, even if it takes four years and has inferior graphics to what's on the market by then. As long as it's as fun as CS he'll be getting my dollars (or Swedish crowns, technically).

I have absoultely no interest in a counter strike 2. Every new version seems to ruin the mod even more and more, I can only imagine what a whole new version would be like.
