Yeah I read the X-box sold like shit in Europe (sold good britain though) as well as Japan. In Europe probably for being very expensive (MSRP ~$425). Spiegel (german news magazine)said, in Germany MS only sold like 10000 boxes in the first 3 days of the release week, whlie PS2 sold 70000 and even dreamcast 40000. But on the other hand, back then when those consoles appeared economy was better too.
Anyway $270 is a pretty good price now... same as PS2 (i think)

  $425 is not what it has cost over here in Sweden, I've seen prices from $470 to $500 and not lower than ... : {Venger}
  - hmm dunno but MSRP was 479 euro which meant that u would get it in stores for like 399 euro now its 299 ... : B00ne

Lord knows they like to pay for all of the positive evidence and testimony they use in their court case vs the 9 states. So why wouldn't they pay for positive spin on what is obvious a report on how crapily (that's in Webster's, btw) the seX-Box is doing abroad?
