Why GeForce Benchmarks Suck?

This is a bit of an explanation of why the GeForce benchmarks have been so dissapointing lately. It seems according to the Glaze3D guys (famous for that 300fps Quake3 claim)that the advertised 480mpix/sec throughput of the card will only occur with DDR memory. Thanks VE Check it:

To my understanding, the fillrate number of 480Mpixel/sec nVidia announced for GeForce is only achieved with DoubleDataRate memory (DDR) which is not very well available at the moment. And SDRAM memory gives only half of the bandwidth. So, the first cards I've seen announced like Creatives etc, all use SDRAM. Which means the fillrate is 240Mpix/sec.
While on that topic, Eric over at FastGraphics spotted some new NVidia cards in the latest drivers. nVidia Riva TNT2 Pro, nVidia Quadro and nVidia Crush.
