There are other screenshots that look better though (http://www.unreality.dk/showpic.asp?pic=UT2003-gdc01.jpg), and this is the same engine being used in UC and U2. It's also important to note that if the visual content is the problem more so than the technology...modders will add a hell of a lot to the game.

THis game looks like tribes2 or a game built on the V12 (tribes 2 engine). These graphics are very uninpressive. Not that the game won't be great or anything, but the graphics leave something to be desired.

I hope this doesn't come across as a troll, because gameplay is important to me, and I'm sick of id softwares lack of content - I much preffered UT vs Q3 - there was an EFFORT made in the game to have some content / features (gameplay, not just fucking gfx)

HOWEVER.

This UT shot looks like ass in my opinion I really don't see anything impressive unless the snowflakes move in a cool fasion, plus I spose the gun is well textured - otherwise quite plain.
