UT2003 Interview
by Maarten Goldstein, Apr 16, 2002 7:21am PDTUnreal Tournament 2003 was being shown in the UK and XSReality has some impressions. Not only that, but they also have an interview with Epic's Jay Wilbur about the game. They ask him about the armor system, if there's going to be a Redeemer in UT2K3, if the netcode has been improved since UT, if the game will be good as a tournament game, and plenty more. More on the game can be found at Games Domain where they have their own preview. The German site exceed-news has also an article on the game.

Nothing wrong with team play, but I think there is a good market for the other as well.
Ah, I'm sure in a year or two, we'll have a revival of the faster, more individual based game, kinda like Serious Sam brought back the "shoot everything that moves" fun, mindless gameplay.
The FPS genre has room for quite a few types of games.

I mean seriously, would it kill Epic or whomever, to just do a 60 second high resolution video and about ten 1600x1200 screen shots and send them to Steve and MartyMar?
