M.U.L.E. Reborn?

Here's something that will take a lot of the old time gamers back. Shrapnel Games has announced that they are working on Space HoRSE. A strategy game that is based on M.U.L.E. If you dont know what M.U.L.E. is, then you just arent old enough.

The game will include 3D animated cutscenes, several different species, and multiplayer support for up to four players on the same computer. Space HoRSE is currently in beta testing and is scheduled for release at the end of this month

    I played this or something similar on the C64, might've been on the PC - llamatron ? - and something else with mules in the desert on the c64 - both from the same long haired dev from memory.

    Personally I didn't like them.

    I tell you what I miss.
    Actually I don't recall what it was called - but it was a side scrolling plane game - and you shot helicopters and planes and stuff.

    God I sound like cliff yablonski.

    Anyhow - it WASN'T ummmmm that weird game - with the funny name - popular on the Amiga with the jeep down the bottom - this was much older - C64 only from memory - side scroller (left and right, and if I recall the world "wrapped around") - you took on jets now and then also was fun .
