Consider Halo a cross between Tribes and System Shock in a 3rd person view. Basically, it\'ll be a story-driven (Bungie tells a better story than anyone - except maybe Looking Glass), tactical, squad based, 3rd person shooter game. Thats the single player.
The multiplayer will be a tactical, squad based, 3rd person shooter.
I for one cannot wait.
