Q3A and Voyager Models
by Maarten Goldstein, Oct 05, 1999 9:04am PDTRogue13 from Q2PMP emailed us that he found an interesting post on the Raven Software messageboard regarding Q3A and Star Trek Voyager models:
Iron Magnus - As far as animations go, and the player model in general, how hard will it be to either switch or modify Q3A models so they will work in VOY:EF and vice versa?
shubes - We are going to attempt that Q3A and Star Trek models be interchangeable and compatible between each program. That is to say when it comes to multiplayer deathmatch there shouldn't be a problem. Single player is a different matter altogether and Voyager will require many additional animations from Q3A models.

Sounds good. But, the Borg Anal Probe (used for hand-to-hand and replaces the dumbass pineapple glove) will take many frames of animation and testing to perfect. Of course, Geoff will probably volunteer for the motion capture.
