First Post!

So we'll be adding some store links to the Shack Reviews page soon. It's hard to find a store we can work something out with like ShackStore for hardware, so we're gonna look if these "buy it here" buttons are gonna work. GoGamer is the only one up right now, but EB and Amazon links should follow. Also for those who didn't see, I added the recently released Dungeon Siege to the page.

I thought things like LAN-parties were a new invention, exclusive to those with computers and interest in games. Oh no, it's been going on for years and years, just with cars instead of computers. I've never really thought of that before. And I have to say it's way more fun to race against eachother compared to playing DM against eachother.

I followed with my brother to a big meet in Stockholm today, about a hundred or so cars together on a parkinglot for an hour or so, and then a cruise through Stockholm together. The plans included finishing the whole thing off by going to the 'Big Brother' house* in the harbor and try to disturb the people inside as much as possible for as long as they let us before they call the police or something... it sounded pretty childish on paper but when we finally got there it was a riot. Imagine fifty carhorns trying to play the same song together. HAHA!

(*= If you don't have that show over there, it's basically a bunch of people locked into a house for a hundred days, people get voted out and the last person out wins cash. They have cameras everwhere, even in the showers (!). Yesterday when we were having breakfast, one of the girls walked into the showers and we could see her titskies and everything. I like that she got picked for the show cause she did a spread for Swedish playboy... O_O

The people in the 'Big Brother' house have no contact with the outer world, but we can all watch what they're doing on live TV and a 'sum up' show every week with the best parts of the days that have passed.)

Haven't had that much fun in quite a while! The camera crew even went out on the roof to film what was happening. I think they were kinda shocked from seeing like a hundred cars circling around their house in the normally peaceful harbor (especially at that time, around midnight). I can't wait until the next episode of the show comes on in a few days, I bet the contestants were all going 'WTF are all those cars doing?'. Hah.

So where were I? Well, the people who organized it run a website with a forum on it. It was fun to meet the faces behind the names. And I can say it's much more fun to see that 'The Supra man' has a sweet 800hp car that sounds like a jetplane, than finding out that 'DarKLeThalDEATH' has a really fast Athlon that pushes some mad polys.

    Conclusion?

I like cars. I'll start going to these meets. As soon as I get my license, that is. Don't ask, just nod and cry. Oh and informative this beeyotch!
