IGI 2 Sniper Screenshots

The power-tool of global special forces, the .50 caliber Sniper Rifle, is one of agent David JonesÂ’ most effective weapons in IGI 2: Covert Strike, CodemastersÂ’ forthcoming PC stealth-based shooter. This handheld semi-automatic .50 caliber rifle fires a slug that weighs a mere 43 grams. Described as the ground-unit equivalent of bombing, it can take out an Armored Personnel Carrier at 1.5 kilometers and is more than capable of taking down an enemy agent at an astonishing 1.8 kilometers. but having a big rifle is cool. I hope when you shoot somebody that they react to it realistically. I remember in Rogue Spear, when you shot someone in the head with a 50 cal rifle, they just bent down on their knees and fell forward. Eh, no...they need to fly backwards a little ways, and if hit in the head, they shouldn't have one after being shot (at least not the back of their head).
