More GTA3 Screenshots

the screens really do look nice, though a lot of the 'wow' is the low camera angle. wonder if you can play with the camera that low...

hmm but what 3D engine will this game use? Because there are only about 3 or 4 good 3D engines in existence. My guess is that it will run like ass.

Anyone know any system requirement and system recommended specs for this game? There sure is a lot of detail. Having never played GTA3 on PS2, can someone also describe the size of one level/map/city in this game?

So finally this game gets the PC Treatment..
The screenshots look great, very polished, looks like a certain buy :-)

I guess lots of people that don't have the PS2 will use this chance to bitch at the PS2 graphics oh well..

The PS2 graphics gritty look goes well with the games theme and style, the night scenes with fog looks amazing. And it's gonna be interesting if the PC version with the highres textures highres graphics is gonna have the same down and dirty feel.

One thing is certain, if you can use the mouse and keyboard in Quake style during the FPS parts it's gonna rock and it's also gonna change the way you play the game. Instead of using the Cars to do most of the work, people will be solving them Quake Style :-)

And nothing beats playing GTA3 in Widescreen on a 44 inch television with the perfect Dual Analog control.

More high calibar console games should use Renderware or other multi-platform engines so we can have pretty immediate good looking ports that don't look like they've been done for the NTSC standard.

What kind of MP will GTA3 have? Or is MP still a rumor?

I still need to get this game... My PC is an Athlon 1.33 with a GeForce2 GTS, so I guess I could probably run it alright, but the PS2 definitely has a lot of appeal to me, not the least of which is the portability and "it just works" aspect of it.

I probably wouldn't worry if it wasn't for the possibility of LANing in this with a couple other people. We'll see, I still have to play MGS2 and I already have that.

I wonder how this game will feel with a mouse/keyboard setup.
