ICO, best for level design? Er, no. The levels are fairly picturesque, but they aren't anything we haven't seen elsewhere and better (e.g., Blade of Darkness). They're also done in a fairly bland pallette, so they look washed-out and overbright. As a result it's a relief to stop playing Ico. Which, after all, is a game about holding hands with a girl. It should have won an award for Pussy Gameplay.

Halo rocked, but no way it should've beaten out MOHAA

(Why? Because a PS2 emulator is certainly forthcoming (and I can still play on a friend's machine in the meantime, or get a PS2 after the E3 price drop), and the game is so good that I felt it would be a good thing to support it while the support still matters (i.e. not in the bargain bin). I cannot wait to see what this team does next.)
Best game ever? Mmmmmm...... very tough to say. Certainly the only game I've ever felt compelled to purchase without even owning the hardware to play it on. And if that isn't an endorsement, I don't know what is. :)

It seems these guys know what they're talking about better than the AIAS guys (Black & White as PC game of the year?)
