Pizza Hut in Space
by Steve Gibson, Oct 02, 1999 11:57am PDTInteresting story of the day by way of /. on CNN.com. It looks like Pizza Hut is joining the space race. Well they are paying the Russians for the right to paint their Pizz Hut logo nice and big on one of the rockets they are sending off into space at least.
Pizza Hut chief executive officer Mike Rawlings said the company is paying about half the price of a 30-second TV ad during the Super Bowl - currently up to $2.5 million - for rights to put the ad on the rocket.
