So darn early it's Afternoon! Well Ice Age was ok. To me it just felt unpolished and poorly presented at times. Typical Disney'esque style plot line. I think I'm gonna sucker the woman in to starting to give chick opinions on movies since I drag her along with me every weekend to see something.

Lastly, everyone say thank you to McDonalds for having excellent french fries. It's actually only about a 1 outa 5 ratio that you get those "perfect" fries... but when you do. oh my! I think Wendy's is the most consistent on their fries though.. always good.

    So I'm just gettin to sleep when I hear a persistent knocking on my door. This is an hour ago, like 4 AM mountain time. So I get out of bed and go to the front door and peep out the window, and it's someone with a clipboard (no contacts, so that's all i could make out). So I hide the bong, come back to the door and open it, and sure enough it's a cop. Turns out I and several others in my apartment complex had our cars broken into about an hour and a half previous. They caught the fuckers that were still in the process of doing it, and needed me to come out and see what had been jacked. So I go put on some clothes on and head out there, and yes, I was still a little stoned.

    Car had one window broken, and my cd player was gone, and nothing else. Not even the piece of shit (but $250 at the time) mp3-cd player that had been kicking around under passengers' feet for a year...nope, it was sitting in the back seat. So I ride around to the other side of the complex in the cop car, so now I guess I can say I've ridden in the back seat of one. The plastic back seat. At least it was warm...

    Ended up standing and sitting around while about a dozen cops went rather casually through a bunch of menial, paperwork type tasks waiting to get my damn cd player back. Calling a tow truck for the fuckers' car, putting all the stolen stuff in a pile and taking pictures of it, and eventually, producing the damn form I had to sign to be able to go to sleep again.

    The other stuff taken that I saw were a couple other cd players, an amp, a boombox, and some other assorted crap. Two bags of chips or cheetos or something, some coats. Some officer had been patrolling about and saw a couple dudes breaking into a car, snuck up close, turned on his bright lights, and arrested them at gunpoint. The dude that was still there in another cop car was claiming he'd only broken into that car, and none of the other ones -- but then they found my cd player in the back of his car so they knew for a fact he was lying.

    The ironic thing is, at the time they were breaking into my car, I'm pretty sure I was playing GTA3. I guess this'll get reposted in werd when I get around to it...
